Every week, join Dr. Denisa as she creates intentional conversations with leaders who have gotten it wrong, learned from their mistakes, and grown stronger on the other side.
Launching this podcast has been an incredible experience so far. Starting a podcast was not on
my radar, but in this episode, I’m sharing what inspired me to take the leap into podcasting.
I once thought my mistakes as a leader made me a not-so-great candidate for podcasting, until I
realized it actually qualified me to be one. We need more leaders talking about their mistakes
and pivotal moments. As leaders, we all experience challenges, and sharing them makes us
feel less alone.
In this episode we’ll explore…
● How I never planned on starting a podcast (and why that changed).
● What I felt called to talk about specifically on this podcast.
● What leaders actually want to talk about once their walls come down.
● How a perspective shift turned me from a disqualified podcaster to a qualified one.
● Why I’m passionate about focusing on pivotal moments for leaders.
● What I really want to know about a person’s leadership challenges.
● The difference between other leadership podcasts and this one.
● My two main required guest qualifications for this podcast.
● Why you should give yourself grace for the leader you were during your tough times.
● How we can learn from one other’s experiences as leaders (and why it matters).
● Where the inspiration for our podcast branding came from.
● The types of leaders we’re inviting here and what I’m asking of you.
